HAMPR

Initially, women with gynecologic cancers tend to respond well to chemotherapy. But eventually many of them develop a resistance to the treatment. Finding a way to reverse or prevent this resistance could be an important step in saving lives.

To that end, HAMPR research endeavors to determine whether the use of approved drugs (hydralazine and megestrol acetate) can lead to a response in women with advanced cancers of the ovary, peritoneum, uterus, and fallopian tube, cervix, or vulva.
